No engine hooks?!
Getting ready to pull my engine and notice there aren't any engine hooks? Any idea on what else I could use? Thinking maybe a eye hook for lowes?

you can back off(remove and replace) a Transmission bolt on the Top passenger side and place a link from the chain on the bolt.(use a big washer on one side so the chain doesn't fall off).
The front iron right above the CAS is usually where that engine "removal thingie" is.YOu should see the bolt location(ear).
You can do the same there..chain with washer..and use a bolt that fits the thread. (old bolt had a M8 thread/12mm head)

No..front iron and Passenger side Top rear iron.
The rear iron is threaded so you can stick a bolt in the Engine itself(thread front to trans)
That is IF you are just taking the engine out.
Now if you are taking engine and trans you can just remove the bolt and put the chain on and then thread it back the way it was in before(which is bolt head at rear of trans bell housing, threading through and into the engine)
