1.There are two hash marks on the front pulley.

2. The pulley rotates in a clockwise direction when facing the front of the pulley.

3. The first mark on the pulley is the 5 degree mark.

4. The second mark on the pulley is the 20 degree mark.

5. A timing light connected to either of the LEAD wires should result in the first mark (5degrees mark) aligning with the fixed pointer.

6. Rotating the body of the cas in a clockwise direction advaces the timing.

7. Rotating the body of the cas in anti-clockwise direction ............(fill in the blank).

8. Don't time an engine when it's cold. The ECU retards the timing til the engine warms up. So wait til the engine is fully hot.

9. The LEAD and the TRAIL(number one) fire together til the engine is warmed up. That's why you see posts exclaiming "WTF, MY TRAIL FIRES ON THE LEAD MARK!" wtf being a really retared remark/acronym

10. YOU need to download the fsm from the net.
