Newb Question: Where are all of the Vacuum Hoses?

Hi Everyone,

I've purchased quite alot of maintenance parts for my N/A 88 GXL and need a question answered.

Can some one provide me with a list of all the locations where vacuum hoses (3.5mm and 6mm) are to be replaced?

I know of a few locations but would like to know all of them because I just recently purchased from mazdatrix the length of silicon hoses to complete an entire hose replacement.
Reference: Silicon Vacuum Hoses

Also is it safe to simply pull the existing hose out and replace it with the purchased one?

Go buy a haynes shop book at napa or advance auto parts. If you plan on working on your car you will definately need it again. All the diagrams you need are found in there, instead of greasy handedly getting on your computer. Pull one line, replace it. Pull another then replace that one, less room for error.

Be very careful when removing the old hose.
By now it's nice and dried out, crusty and hard- which of course, is why you're replacing it to begin with- but this makes it difficult to remove from the nipples- which are also more fragile than they used to be.
It's easy to break the nipples if you aren't careful.

I just used a razor blade to cut the old vacuum lines off so I didn't need to worry about breaking the nipple. Quite a bit easier and you don't have to sit there and tug on it. Just cut a line down it and it slides right off. Doesn't matter that you cut it because your not going to use it again.
