New to the world of RX-7, please help...

Hello, Im new to the world of Rx-7 I have been looking thru these forums for days. Sorry if any of these questions have been asked, I tried to find them first. Im researching upgrades before I decide to buy this car. Im interested in buying a friends 87 RX-7. Its has a 13b turbo, the car is an s4. Here are the current mods on the car

"Act 6 Puck, RB Turbo Back, Custom 3in cat, TB mod, bored out TB, Koyo AL Rad, RB FCD, Walbro 255, Apex'i BOV, Optima Red Top, FD Alt, ported wastegate, Dual Sheave Alt Pulley, escort efan, Removed Twin Scroll, Air Pump, BAC, ACV, EGR, OMP, AWS, Metal Vacuum Spider, AC, PS"

I guess this car runs high 13 currently in the 1/4 mile. Im interested in getting 450 to 500 hp. The car would be for the street, mostly summer weekends, and maybe for the dragstrip. The motor hasn't been rebuild, about 75 to 80k, its garage kept, motor runs well. I could rebuild the engine this winter and port it. I haven't ported an engine before, I could get some help, but I could figure it out. Here are my questions.

How hard is it to reach 450 to 500 hp on a 13b? Can that horsepower be reached on pump gas (91 to 93 oct.)?

I could always keep the boost turned somewhat down and run racing gas to reach 500. I'm just not totally sure what I want yet. I would like to run low 11, maybe even 10 in the 1/4 mile.

If anyone has a 13b with 400 some horsepower, please let me know what turbo u run. I figure it will take some customization and a lot of money. I wont be cheap, but I would like to keep the costs down somewhat.

How good is the diff and all the driveline components? Im sure they will have to be upgraded to hold that kind of horsepower. What do u think this car it worth, it doesnt have much rust, like 1 deep scratch in the door? Thanks for any help and sorry for the long post. Im trying to learn as much as I can.

Ignoring this above post, even though i'd hug a pump with 98octane as well..

The getting over 400 from what i've seen, out of friends setups that are up in the 400's is that it's not as hard as it is expensive, then engine will hold it so long as it's in good - great condition and the drivetrain will definatly hold it.. only weak part of the stock drivetrain would have been the stock clutch but seems like that's been covered.
1 setup i know that dyno'd 408whp @ 15psi is running a t04b from turbonetics (i'm pretty sure it's from tubonetics?) with all the fuel mods to go with it, mind you the engine was also built at mazdees.

Anyways many ppl have dynoed over 400 whp on the forum using different turbo's and setups some on pump others on racegas.

Your best bet it to do some searching on the single turbo section of the forum, a quick search might turn up some good results.

Also reaching those power levels you might want to consider a standalone EMS as well

I'm sure someone with more knoledge and who has already done this will probably chime in as well.

We Californians have absolutely awful gas. x.x But, as I understand it, Oz has a different way of measuring octane. So Oz 98 ~= USA 93. Sorry!
