New wheels and tires!

I installed a set of Hawk Blacks, camber adjustment rod and replaced a bad brake line. Yanks your teeth out when you stop!

Wheels: 5Zigen 17x8 and 17x10 FN01R-C in Titanium Bronze.
Tires: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 225/45-17 and 275/40-17

The exhaust sounds REALLY good. It's an Apex GT-Spec catback with a custom Y pipe. It's very quiet until you get on it. When you're on it, it sounds like a 'vette with exhaust and when you're crusing I can hear the valving in my Teins when I hit a bump.

With the proper offset, the wheels fit perfectly. I'm running Tein coilovers so I have a little more clearance than stock shocks provide.

I've got one video of the car, but it's when it was running REALLY crappy. I'm headed out to Deal's Gap this weekend and I'll have three cameras on the car (one in car and two outside), so there will be PLENTY of video of it after the weekend.

I have the same wheels in a different color on my 1989 TII (also in Pensacola, also an LT1 car.) THe offsets are +25f and +35r.

It takes the inner lip of the fender and pushes it flat against the outside skin of the fender to give you more clearance for tire. Go grab your fender at the top of the wheel opening and feel that flat lip under there... now imagine that gone

go to summit they have them. i think they are by eastwood for about 2-300 bucks. if you do a search or maybe start a thread there are people who rent theres out or use them once then sell them.

It was 300 from Eastwood.

If you have time and patience, you can flare the hell out of them. I've seen the lips pulled out 1.5-2" with this tool (Depending on the car of course)

i'd be afraid to try it out on my car first, or is it that easy to operate and do it right?

can you get some close ups of the fender rolling you did on your car?
