New wheel offset! I know it's been asked! Confusion!
Well I know it's been asked, I've been searching for weeks, but would like to here from those with or an experienced wheel guy. I'm slightly confused

Front 17x8 35 offset
Rear 17x9 35 offset
Tires are yoko avs sports 225 front and 255 rear. Am I walking into a shitty mess or will this work fine? Should I have any spacers on hand? This is stock suspension (not for long, but for now)?
I recieved a call from the place I ordered and they said that the rear 17x9 probably won't fit, and it was suggested a 7in or maybe 8in at most for the rear. I find that hard to believe.
Anyways, thoughts??? Thanks in advance
