New weight of my car :)

well after i got my exhaust put on the other day i decided i needed to go weigh my car today, last time i weighed it with 3 gallons of gas with the stock exhaust and it came in at 2440, i thought 6 gallons of gas but it was only 3. today i went to the scale with 10-12gallons of gas and i hit exactly 2400lbs, not too shabby huh?? full interior still, and a sun roof to boot

my gas mileage isnt bad, cuz there isnt any speed limits above 55mph here, @55mph im at 2800rpm, up at 75mph im at 3900rpm, i usually drive only around town cuz there isnt anywhere to go, and i usually get between 15-25 depending on how i drive, highway driving i get from 20-25, that was with my stock exhaust, i dont know what i would be getting now.

right now i have a full interior with my radio, im gonna take out the radio and speakers tomorrow since it doesnt work anyways, i have a sun roof, removed the a/c system, all the a/c hoses and a/c radiator, removed the P/S system, the air pump and all the brackets and bolts for those, have a single sided exhaust with no mufflers or silencers, removed the heat shield for the muffler on the passenger side since i dont have exhaust going out that side, and thats about it, interior is still all there.

Sh*t.. I didn't want to hear that.. My car HAS to weight 2680lbs (with me in it), and I've totally gutted the sucker...

Ugh. Good thing I'm a big guy, I may be able to squeek by with 100lbs of ballast on the passenger side.

Read that again, he said with gutted interior and race seats.

And T2s are roughly 100lbs heavier on average than an NA car.

Fortunately, the cagework should add enough weight, I forgot about that last night.

this is what i plan to reach 2200lbs, gut the interior, put in a carbon fibre dash and remove all the un necessary junk inside the dash, i was told here is about 130lbs of useless junk inside the dash itself, ill leave carpet but nothing underneath, put a lexan rear hatch and lexan side windows, 9 or 10lb seats, carbon fibre hood, carbon fibre front fenders, 10-12lb wheels, gonna remove the sun roof and motor for it and put an alum plate in its place, and im gonna remove any un necessary weight from the under side of the car. if i think of anything else i'll post it
