Just shot my surfacing primer, so a good 2 hrs of sanding 2marrow and I'll have pics up. I'm quite a bit happier this time around, dropped the front by a good 3/8" and tipped it a descent bit further forward. The second i'm done i'll start working on a dual 60mm pod

Heres a preview of the new pod's shape. I havn't sanded it out and still have some touching up but you can see how much lower it is now.

Looks great and I am definitely interested in picking up one. Might wait for the two 60mm though. I am trying to understand something though. Why do the far right gauges always get put further towards the windshield? It seems like the closer gauges would obscure part of the other gauges. It appears to be the norm, I am just uncertain as to why?

Got a nice case of food poisoning last night, so i stayed home and worked on these a bit more. Will be pulling the mold tonight just a few days from reproducing them.

I havnt done a final cost analysis but if I get a group buy going with over 10 people we'll problably be looking at $75.
I could also offer these in two finishes: a black gel coat as seen on the earlier shape, of a dark grey surfacing primer for those who plan to paint them. Pricing would be the same either way.

I literally pulled the first reproduction out of the mold this morning and everythings looking great. Tonight I'll trim the piece and get some pics of it in the dashboard.
Only thing now is a simple mounting solution, once I've figured / fixtured that out I'll be doing a group buy immediately.
I'll be working on a dual 60mm this weekend my friend don't you worry.
