Hello everyone. I just bought an FC from my friend for $700. So the problems i have came across were the doesn't start, but i can jump start it. I fixed that problem with new battery heads.

Another problem is the headlight motor, it doesnt work. i cant find the wires for it. Does anybody have pictures to show me? That would be great.

Also the fuel gauge is messed it. When i start the car, it glows all the way empty. Even the needle says empty even though there is a full tank. I don't know how to fix that and i also searched and it gave me crap. You guys need to fix the search tool, because it pisses us noobs off too you know.

Also the speedometer doesn't work, but i can't find the cable that goes to the tranny. PICS PLEASE. That would be great.

Also the tape deck doesn't work. The previous owner had a clarion amp in it and i can't turn on the amp nor the radio.

The wiring under the hood is messed up. I see like a bunch of disconnected wires, but no ends. Like there is a male but no female or vice versa.

Please help, im only 16 and i have HIGH SCHOOL to deal with. Life's a bitch. lolz.

look in the stickies and download a copy of the Factory Service Manual. It'll have most of the information you need on how to fix the car. It'll have the wiring diagrams and itll show you haw the speedo works. the fuel guage problem is a common one with these cars. most likely the fuel level sender is dead. you could replace it or do what i do is just watch for the idiot light for the gas to come on. when it comes on you have 2 gallons left. as for the tape deck, ditch it and get an aftermarket one.

and most importantly, people dont usually answer questions that have been talked about a lot. learn to use the search feature on the site. most topics have been discussed numerous times and talking about it again is like beating a dead horse.

i start of by checking the wiring up and under the dash..since the radio is an after market job you can assume that someone at some point was in their foolin around with the wiring..remove the radio ..check for an in line fuse..check the fuses inside..(drivers side usually) pull one at a time look at them ..and if they are no good ..replace them..also remove all the toes on your right foot because you will notice when you drive one of these cars that you will have a heavy right foot!!!!!this will reduce the amount of speeding tickets that you are bound you accumulate!!!..................(had too!!!) (WELCOME!)..P.S. invest in manual it will be the best investment you and will be your bible.

I second that about the manual its the best 16 bucks i spent on this car. I always keep it in the car with me.
