New Rx7 Owner

Hey all, I bought an Rx7 back in February of this year. Sanded it down to metal, fixed the dings, painted it, and came out with a pretty sweet result. Its all stock. 13b, non turbo. It leads me to this question... How much is it SUPPOSED to smoke, I know they smoke but... how much exactly? Oh and btw the car hasn't been run for 4 years...

looks beautifull. on start up they smoke a little like big clouds is not a good sighn. it depends on the temapture also. i mean when its colder obveiousely you woul dhave more egsaust. it should only smoke on start up for about 5 to 10 seconds no more

yea the only time you really see it is in the winter when its cold and its not too much, after that if it keeps going then theres a problem, they look like little puffs....um the same amount that someone smoking would exhale?? it should also not be black or deep blue.....very mild blue tint is ok(like barely noticible)....extreme=bad

Ok thanks it smokes for a good 15 seconds I'd say... like I said the car hasn't been run for a good 4 years, maybe more, so I'm sure thats contributing to it as well. Thanks again

thats not bad, try using premium for a little to clean the insides, change the oil, use some fuel injector cleaner, whatever and you will probably be perfect, back from the dead

your car looks amazing by the way....looks like it just came off the assembly line
