new rx7 owner

bought a 88 rx7 couple of weeks and tried to start it the other day but it was getting no spark. can anyone help me or give me some suggestions on what to check. need to be able to drive the car by friday just wrecked my lancer over the weekend and need some transportation!

Check that the crank angle sensor is plugged in, then check your egi fuse in the black plastic fuse box near the battery. If this all looks good, check to see if your coils are firing. Check the resistance on your coils. I think they should both be between 0.2 and 1 ohm of resistance.

If none of that made any sense, you need to read the fsm. Do a search for fsm and there will be links to it. Oh, and you should probably have done a search for no spark or something before you started a new thread.
