New to the RX7

I got a pretty good deal on one from a friend. Check a few things to try and get it running and it looks like I need to rebuild the motor. Did a comression check. Front rotor got about 10 and the back got nothing at all. Any tips/tricks to make the removing of the engine? Would you recomend trying a rebuild myself or just send it to someone? I am in Memphis, TN by the way. Thanks

yea you probably should just send it out or get another motor. That low could probably have messed some housings up.

Yea couldn't agree more. the fact that you have 0 compression on both the front and rear rotors is extremley bad luck, if you rebuild it, don't buy a rebuild kit until you take that thing apart and inspect the housins/rotors.

For your situation/knowledge, I think the easiest thing to do is to just buy a jspec. They have 30 day warranties at most places so if it has garbage compression you can return it.
