New reman startup question....
I have a new reman installed and ready for startup. My question is: is there a way to build oil pressure throughout the motor prior to startup? I'm assuming that the only lubrication currently in there is that which was used for assembly. Can you simply unplug the coils and turn the motor over with the starter? Will it even turn over fast enough to build oil pressure?
My last race car had [cough, cough] pistons [/cough,cough] and we used the distributor hole (Ford) to access the oil pump drive with a drill to build oil pressure in the engine prior to even turning the motor over. I'd like to accomplish the same thing with the rotary.
However, that may not be possible; I may be all wet in my reasoning; it may be unnecessary; or all of the above. I'm interested in any feedback you have as well as any other tips for initial startup.
Thanks in advance.

turn it with the starter every 20 seconds two or three times and then plug the coils and fuses back in and you should be
and MAYBE squirting a little bit of oil in the spark plugs holes to lube the apex seals wouldnt hurt either

this is the most common way.... its also best to unplug the EGI or EGI pump fuse to not let any fuel wash any of the assembly lubricant out while turning with the starter.
