Hi guys im new to the forum and want to say hello and hope you can help!

Im looking to buy an rx7 twin turbo 1992 model this week. I had a general viewing today and was very impressed. Im going to take another look at the end of the week and hopefully purchase. What should I look out for? The engine has had a rebuild 9000 miles ago but any other things to look out for, whats prone for going wrong with rx7's?

Thanks!

Go ahead and read all the sticky threads at the top of the forum. That will answer lots of questions. Btw, there was no official 1992 model rx-7. If your car is twin turbo then you belong in the 3rd generation section.

Cheers, so I'm confused. The car is def twin turbo but on a 1992 registration plate. Was the twin turbo introduced to the UK a year before the USA then?

Some '93 3rd gens were probably sold early, or registered before others. So you may have a "1992" 3rd gen. '92 2nd gens were basically the same as '91s.
