New Motor startup... soon. :)
Ok so I think I got everything. My motor was built last fall and done so late that I wouldn't have been able to drive it, and wanted a good break-in period without any interruptions.
I don't think I missed anything, and so far this is work done let me know if you see anything I missed.
Motor is Atkins rebuild had compression numbers on bottoms of rotor housings that were about 90 average. Is this good some were 89 and up to 92.
I replaced anything and everything that was broken or needing replacing, all work was done according to FSM specs for parts installation and testing so the oil injectors are new and fuel injectors were balanced and blueprinted. All the fuel lins and all the vacuum hose was replaced. I have gaskets left over but all gaskets were replaced during rebuild process. I replaced the thermo wax (think thats what it is) due to the foam filter desintegrating. All new orings and such, radiator and Oil cooler were tested for flow and cleaned (this meetes atkins wrranty). All new hoses for pretty much all the cooling lines. I had a bad brake master cylinder so I replaced it and put in new clutch master and slave cylinders due to rust. The inside of the engine bay was hit due to the brake fluid leak so I sand blasted it and repainted almost entire drivers side, and half of the passenger side. Paint used was an exact code match from finish master. Looked great when I was done, just wish I had done the entire bay but time was of the essence.
If anyone can think of anything I forgot on engine please let me know. I put the CAS and the TPS are in original settings when I got the car. I never had the car run properly when I bought it due to SUPER blown engine 5 of 6 seals blown or severely worn.
All I have left is to finish rebuilding the brakes and then sandblast and repaint them (will be done by Wednesday). Also fill the radiatior and engine with coolant. Then I can try starting her.
I am hoping this goes off without too many problems so I keep my fingers crossed.

nice job man, I am in the process of doing the same thing
except with the 89 intake swap to my 87 and some other goodies
I also want to know if you used your old rotor housings.
I had to buy a new front plate and I prolly could have gotten away with the old rotor housings but I went ahead and spend almost all my cash.
i hear new housings build compression faster than old ones.
again nice job

Thats a whole rebuilt engine, nothing from old engine. I pulled it apart to rebuild and then it was severly f'd and so I just got a rebuilt. I should have rebuilt my old motor but oh well is in the past. I just need to get some gas thursday and move the hood off the top so I can see whats goin on inside cabin. Should fire up... I am pretty confident in my work thus far.
Will see on in the next few days.

Ok after some adjustment to the TPS I got her idleing at the normal 750 or so range. I need to be able to drive her to know if anything is wrong... So once the brakes are blasted and repainted (this weekends project) I will get tem on and get all the systems bled and get her on some rubber. I can't wait. I am only concerned about what sounds like a tick or something in the top area of the engine, on the drivers side but I am not sure of location or what it could be.
