New Motor start up

CA New Motor start up

I just recently installed a new engine from Rotary performance, and am have a real hard time getting it started for the first time, So what am I doing wrong ? and what should I be doing that i may not be doing ?

make sure your battery is fully charged. make sure your fuel and oil systems are primed.

intial set connector, look it up in the FSM. Also you can turn it over and time it with a timing light, it has helped me start a few autos after a rebuild, just making sure the timing is PERFECT does help. and you can time it while cranking it over, even though it isn't running yet, however after it does start and gets warmed up, you will want to time it again. i can't explain why.
