Angry new motor bogging down??

Just installed a rebuilt 13b non turbo in my 88 rx-7, took all emissions off, and cold start off, all thats left is the bac valve for the air conditioner. Replaced the seals on the injectors, TPS is set perfect, and no vaccuum leaks. When I give it gas it just boggs down and will simply not do anything but every now and then it will get gas and the rpm's will go straight up. What do I need to do or check?

could possibly be afr related problem, helped a friend do a rebuild and after we re-installed the engine the car did not want to accelerate and pretty much almost died when gas was given unless full throttle was applied and even then it would almost die then catch and rev right up.

Turned out to the the stock harness. It was so old and brittle that just moving it aside to remove/install the engine was enough to cause the wires to lose some conductivity there fore the injectors would not open enough on that large burst of gas when you apply throttle.

We found this out using a wideband O2.
