New master cylinder, no brake pressure switch fitting?
New master cylinder, no brake pressure switch fitting?
I got a new master cylinder and it doesnt have the tap to fit the brake pressure switch (on the bottom). Is this part even necessary? What will it do if I just leave it off (warning light is my guess)? Thanks

I am guessing the car it is going into was originally equipped with Power Steering? That is the brake pressure input into the Speed Sensitive Power Steering.
Leaving it off the car(If it still has power steering ) will result in an incorrect input into the PS Computer

Thanks. Yes it does have power steering. I am going to use it anyway. I wonder though if it is better to show the PS computer constant brake pressure or constant no pressure?

its actually for the auto matic suspension (aas) that came on the gxl's, you cannot get the original master anymore, and it doesnt seem to matter much
