I guess if you like black rims its a nice change. I just hate black rims (not just those, all of them). I don't like any black rims on any car.

too bad they're still 14"

What's with half your trim painted and the other half black? get the trim on the doors/skirts black, complete the look.

Black rims are sexy. Those are definitely an improvement on the phone dials.

I am in the process of getting the trim painted, My friend owns a shop and he has a paint that bonds to rubber and plastic! We are trying it out. It's supposed to be chip resistant and still flex...We'll see how it works. The wheels are bieng used for Autocross I just ordered a set of 17" wheels for the REX and these will see Race rubber!

I have the phone dials, and I was wondering what they would look like painted black. I like them that way! I might try them if I can't come up with the bank to get rims.

I think those tires were like 215 65's or something.
BTW It's a 15 inch rim

That's my old POS.

I gotta say, I didn't like them at first. But with the picture courtesy of digi, I think they look great with the black runners and spoiler, also the huge tires make a drastic difference. Good Job on your cars guys.

polished lip makes the whole setup look smaller. I painted my front stock rims blacks cus my tires went bald on my 16x7 225s so I got bored and wanted to see how they or any other rim would look black on my gold FC so I sprayed the stock fronts and put them on. like the flat black rims and will paint my Momos black also.

what kinda paint you guys use for that stuff? can't just be regular spray paint right? i would expect spray paint to come off pretty easy on a high abuse area like a wheel.

It's not spray paint....... It's some "wheel/ engine" paint my friend and i have at his shop, high heat and chip resistant... But HIGH quality rattle can will work if the surface is prepped right....
