new logicon, but can't select where air goes?

well, I'm wondering why this could be? the logicon is practically brand new, and everything works fine, except I can't choose where the air comes out. its always stuck on the defroster. what part could be failing that directs the airflow?

any input would be appreciated

The mode mix motor is what controls the path of the air.

It is common to have a mosfet fail in the logicon that drives that if the motor was jammed or damaged.

You may wish to look for some of the old posts that describe how to test the air/mix motor and mode control motors.
