Ok guys I want a nice Cf wing to augment my car, something that will fit on the trunk of a vert and still fit on a coupe.





I made the wing and still need to finish it off one of these days. I put it on hold for financial reasons, but you get an idea of the shape.

What I did was glass over the trunk with tape behind the glass and the rest of the car taped off that way I had a base shape, then I cut foam backed paperboard for the ribs, hot glued the same board over the ribs, fiberglassed over that, and that is what you see. I will bondo, sand, wet sand and make a mold and one of these days have one in CF.

I hope it fits well. Tell me what you guys think. I think the shape is great.

 

Not to bad, not my taste, but if you're happy. Looks like it covers the trunk key hole some though?

 

Not bad...just not sure it beats either of these wings for a vert.

I'd be interested in seeing if once it looks the color of the car. Nevertheless, I admire the creativity. It shows promise.

 

yeah you have to imagine it finished in CF and installed. The other spoilers are :bleh:
and on the vert the hole is on the tailight, and on a coupe it is below the third light, which is partially blocked by the wing, but I dont care.

 

You might be able to sell me on a finished product....I'm not one for big gaudy spoilers....I think it's stupid..
