New kind of sound from rear end - I've searched

Simply put when I drive around 30 miles and hour I hear a dull shearing sound from the right rear of the car. Here is the fun part - the sound gets louder if I am in a left turn. I have searched and read about the dust shield and calipers and what not but no concrete answers. Anyone been through this and found a fix? Thanks for your time.

Dust cover.

couple bolts and tear it off. Do the other side while your at it.

If it gets worn, it gets really loud and annoying!

could be your brakes worn to metal/metal as well. try rocking the wheel while you have it jacked up to double check the wheel bearings also while you're at it.

I just changed the brakes about 500 miles ago with Hawk pads but I did notice at the same time that my left side rear brakes squeak at 15mph and slower but go away when I press on the brake pedal.

So I have squeaky rear brake on the left side and a groaning/shearing noise on the right rear.

I'm more interested in the rear wheel bearing than the front as my rear passenger wheel is making all the noise. Thanks for the link though.

its super easy, but youll need a press. 4 or 5 bolts (i cant remember) and the hub assembly should come right out.
