Whats going on everybody! As the title says I'm new to the forum and to owning an RX7, actully I don't even own one yet. I have been talking to a guy and I should be picking up an 89 NA GXL this weekend or maybe next. I live in the greater DC area and the car is from NC. From what I understand its been in the south it's whole life. I was wondering what I need to look for in this car. I have 5 years of time in working at shops and dealerships, so I know the obvious, but I have never touch a rotory motor, now that I think about it I don;t think I've even driven one!

What are common problems with these cars. I'm paying about $2,500 for it, and the guy says he got the motor rebuilt about 25,000 miles ago. I don't know who did the rebuild, and I've heard to watch out for some shops. What else should I look for?
