I installed some new headlights in my car. The old ones still worked, but they were what came with the car when I bought it so I decided to put new ones in so I would not have to worry about how much longer the current ones would last.

One of the replaced ones was still kinda new looking but dulling, but was a standard halogen. The other was old and plastic. Even the lense was plastic and it was yellowing. eww.

So I installed some of those Halogen Xtravisions that are supposedly 3x brighter than standard. I almost got the "Hyper white" stuff but could not justify the extra $3 per light for a gimmick that probaby isn't worth it seeing as how it's just a knockoff. Anyway it was wonderful to look at my headlights and actually not cringe at the image. They are now both clean and crystal clear. I have not driven it yet though so I'm not sure how they perform, but I'm sure they will be an improvement over the dull and yellowing ones.

I also gave the car a very nice wash and wax job. He had quite the day today.

Coolness! Yep, I replaced my old plastic ones with the nice illegal Hella ones. You'll find out you'll get flashed more 'cause folks think your highbeams are on. Then you click your highbeams on and burn their retinas out!! *wink*

Either a downpipe to replace the gutted pre-cats or a dynomax cat-back system. I'm still undecided.
