new gaskets?

i am planning on taking off my upper intake manifold off this weekend to re do all the vacume hoses with high temp silicone hoses in the engine bay of my 86 gxl. if i do this should i get new gaskets? let me know thanks.

If it's the original gasket, I'd suggest changing it, you're going to have to scrape off all the remnants of the old gasket before putting on the new one, so make sure you scrape extra good or you'll have vac leaks and want to shoot yourself like Rxmfn7

I always replace the gaskets when I pull something... too much chance of something ripping or leaking.

the gaskets are fairly new, they have about 30,000 miles on them. i got them with the new motor i put in it about 3 years ago.

I would replace them anyway.They are pretty cheap at advanced auto.It's better to replace them now then to deal with them blowing later while you are driving.
