ok im in love with rotary engines and the geniousness it took to make them
and of course like most rotary fans i love the fd's but now im starting to like the fc's and i wanted to know the differences in the GXL, GTU, etc... and s4, s5, etc...

please help me out, im learning.

S4 = Series 4 = 86-88
S5 = Series 5 = 89-91 Some minor changes
Trims models from low to highest
Base<GXL (luxury version)<GTU (track version)< TII (beefier track version)

GXL - luxury package
GTU - power everything, no leather
SE - base
Convertible - has GXL package for 89-91, non-leather in 88
Turbo II - comes with GTU interior, leather optional

S5 - engine generation of 89-91 engine (more HP) & minor body revisions (S5 engines went in other rotary cars too).
S4 - engine generation of 86-88 (less HP).
