New exhaust suggestions?
New exhaust suggestions?
I recently had to gut my pre-cat to get my car to run properly and ever since I've been catching all kinds of sh*t from the local law enforcement. So I need to get a full exhaust running from the Turbo all the way back. I woul dlike to go with a single out and was wondering if any of you guys may know of a company that makes or would make one for a reasonable price. TIA
OK the exhaust is the STOCK exhaust all the way from the turbo to the mufflers. The ONLY thing that is different about it is the fact that my pre-cat is now hollow. It's loud and obnoxious and I don't like it, hence I want a new exhaust.

you probably have a big exhaust leak somewhere. my friend's mr2 had one and that thing sounded like a beast. I couldn't even hear my exhaust when next to him and I have full 3'' with no cats out to single N1.
Ok fellas I was just wondering who makes and sells a full exhaust for my car. I know what is wrong with it. I am greatful that you all were/ are trying to help but I just wanted to know who makes a good exhaust, not how to fix the one I have.
If sound level is a concern; don't get a single, go double. That said, get the Racing Beat turbo-back exhaust. It sacrafices a bit of performance, for drivability. Even then, it should still have a pretty good gain in power.
www.racingbeat.com or I believe www.rx7store.net sells them as well.

A good example is my friend has two mufflers which are burnt out and i have a single burnt out muffler. (our mufflers are 2.5 inch in and 4.5 inch out) His is so loud that you can not carry on a conversation in his car while cruising.
Racing beat corksport <- RX7 specialist apexi greddy (do they still?) tanabe hks... they all make exhaust for our cars. -Gabe
Get it custom made... way cheaper, go with a full 3" system, buy a 3" dp, get them to make a midpipe, and a y-pipe(if you want dual), and then buy a muffler(s) from them... alot cheaper and better
I think..
