Question New exhaust question -

Hey everyone, i've been wanting to get a new exhaust header for a while, but after the other night, im pretty much convinced i'm in need of a new one. After changing coolant, thermostat, and oil... I go for a bit of a "spirited" drive, for about 15 minutes or so. I came back home and checked a few things under the hood, and i noticed my exhaust manifold glowing... and im pretty sure thats not good. So im saving up for a new header, and I would like to have your opinions about what kind I should get. I can not spend a huge ammount of money, but i need to get something good quality. A true dual would be cool, but I dont think the way to go for me right now because I would have to re-do the rest of the system, right now, I just have a straight pipe going from the manifold to the y pipe. Whatever kind I get, its going to have to be welded to the rest of the system, or I will have to get flanges welded on. I would just like to know others' opinions.

Thanks -

I forgot to mention I have an 88 N/a and the stock exhaust manifold with the cats replaced with straight pipe.
