Exclamation New Engine / Old Car

ok a guy is going to sell me a turboII for $200. The catch, motor has the apex seals blown. I have 2 n/a's on crates how hard is it to transfer a n/a into a turbo (ie electronics, wiring harness', ect.)

from what i have been told you can do that but your car will run like crap. the Tii trany has a longer gear ratio. and is meant to take the horsepower the Tii engine makes. you can use a s4 motor to an s4 trans. But not s4 to s5 (motor/trans). thats from what i was told.

i thought all rotary engines and transmissions are compatible, rx8 six speed hooked to a s4 engine (atleast the bellhousing). I say rebuilding the turbo motor using the n/a's for extra parts and higher compression rotors, although you'll need some tuning to cope with the higher compression.

That looks like alot to do for a guy just looking to get an engine in the car.

I say sell both the NA's and get a TII engine honestly, it'll be worth it.
