Rebuilds (ie new apex seals)
- 86-88 Turbo II - 160-180K
- 89-92 Turbo II - 140-160K miles

Well before running her hard, I'd have the full 60K mile services done (tuneup, injector cleaning, belts, wires, filters, etc..).

Once your satisfied the car's running good and boosting properly, I'd recommend tossing the OEM exhaust and adding a lightweight steel downpipe, performance cat, and nice catback exhaust. Note I'd stay away from doing any intake mods until you have a way to control boost. Boostcreep will happen with exhaust & intake mods.
