New air intake?

I was messing around with the air box tonight to see if I could easily put a new intake on and it seems that I cannot bypass the air sensor cuz we messed around with it and the car just died. Is there any aftermarket sensor that I can get or some way to bypass it? I just want to stick a K&N on there or something that will let in more air.

Yes, get an aftermarket programmable ECU (like a Haltech) and you can remove it. Otherwise, nope!
