Angry New 88 Rx7 GXL, Help!!!

I just bought an 88 Rx7 GXL....It has 140,000 on the dash and isnt running too good.
I went out to riverside (Home Land to be exact) to buy it and thats where its been for far too long...It doesnt always start 2/3 times it will....GUy says it has a new clutch, but its sticking. Power is really sluggish as well....I know it needs a tune up, but other than that what can I do to revive my car???

Not a rotor? Not a motor.

Use the Search tool to look for the 60k tuneup procedure..
You'l probably want to buy all new plugs..

do a compression check to make sure your motor is not blown or anything. Tune up would be advise and should be top priority.

hey i bet you have a limited slip..... and the tune up is easy to do, its better to do what you can before actually sending it to a mechanic, and by the way, compresion check your engine man (as mentioned above) those engines blow around 130K miles (mine blew up at 125K, its previos owner rape the car, many times...lol)

bullshit.

in my friends old car (mrtasty from up above)

we burnt second gear with one rotor. the car didnt have enough horsepower to pull fifth gear. soon as you put it in fifth, with the pedal to the floor, you slowly start to decel.

my other friend ran his for about 6 months with the temp gauge pinned all the way to hot.

mines on one rotor as well, and i can make the turbo spool and the bov sound all with free-rev.

lol

Hey, how about you try to not speak if you have no idea what you're saying.

Engines can last anywhere from 1 mile to 200,000 miles. It's all in the tuning and maitenence.
