New 7 owner THANKS YOU!
I have indeed hunted down the electrical problem with my A/C. The Logicon unit AND the relay were toast... How that happened I will never know since I bought the car used and in this condition. Thank you all for your replies, they pointed me in the correct directions! NO, I don't have LOTS of money, just obscene amounts to be spent on the car... Yes, I already have the 20b cosmo sitting in the hanger... However I do need help on a couple questions! (Haynes Manual unavailable at the moment due to being not in stock at ALL my local stores I checked...)
Issue 1: Unfarmiliar with the unmarked boxes in various locales inside my car... One I would like to identify is a small (4" x 4") Silver box located under the dash on the passenger side, next to the Speaker mount... What is that?
Issue 2: Unknown Relay dangling in passenger footwell with 1 single red wire leading back to behind the radio and continuing on behind the steering wheel where it terminates in an unknown location (I have not ripped the dash fully apart yet...)
Issue 3: Idiot lights don't turn on when car is on ACC or pre-ignition... however some of them do work, found that out the hard way... I have read the FAQ and still need some light shed on these issues... FaQ sorta vague in some spots! Thank you!
Pictures to follow soon... If you would like to see pictures of the aforementioned issues i can email them! Thank you all for your help and responses it has been a huge push in the right direction...

If the relay is a regular automotive relay (I mean with 5 prongs) with just 1 wire, then it isn't doing anything at all, so you could cut the wire and secure it.

Found what the red wire was...
Apparently the single red wire going to the relay was indeed not attached to the relay in an electrical fashion... merely taped to it to secure the wire... traced the wire alllllll the way back to the fuse panel where low and behold some complete moron had it stuck into a fuse compartment with a 15w fuse to power some unknown object.... god I can't stand when people to stuff that retarted... Needless to say the fuse was blown, I replaced the fuse but do not know what it was there for since the fuse box cover was indeed... GONE... I will look thru the faq cuz i think i saw a pic of one in there... (fuse box located above footrest in driver's footwell...)
Thank you guys...
