Well I now own an 1988 GXL with 250,000 miles. I know it's a lot of mile but I plan on a TII swap. She may not look pretty now with her sun cancer but its my project car. But just for kicks, I figured I would try an start it. So I instaled all new spark plugs and put in some new gas. Well it fired right up! So i let it worm up to operating temp and gave it a little rev. It just died out right after that. Oh well im just surprised it fired and ran. I'll post some pics later. This is my new project and its a big one.

Well I finially learned how to upload pics from the digital camara. A friend and I flat blacked it for the hell of it since the original paint was toast. About a week ago I decided to clean and regrease the sunroof. well when I pulled down the headliner, the main metal panel that everything was attached to was rusted. Most of it was rusted off and was ontop of the headliner. Well when I pulled the liner off it all fell on me. (The rust, not the hole sunroof assembly).

So next day I took a trip to the junkyard and found a whole new assembly with no rust. the sunroof pannel was rusted though. Cleaned and replaced now sunroof actually opens. still needs a little nudge to first open and to drop down when closing.

Oh yeah, I replaced the plugs and she starts up everytime. she pulls pretty good too. Needs a header though, stock manifold is leaking.
