New 4-pc pedal set

I'm getting a set of these.. they are a new design from Autovation.. There was a group buy on the plain styled ones last year... If there is interest, they are willing to do another "group buy" on the pedals. (of course, they will clear everything with the "Powers that Be" first!!!!)

whata guys think????

Like I said.. I'm buying a pair anyway cause I'm the impatient type and can't wait around....

Website is www.autovation.net

Email 'em if you are interested and they'll get the ball rollin.

Hey, I'm intrested very much, i hadn't seen the rotor design. How can you not get the matte finish with the rotors, the example regular pix look all circulary and rough? Does that mean you have to pay the $99 for the matte?

Stock pedals work for me, I don't see a point in dropping that kinda cash just for pedals :|

Don't knock it until you've tried it...

Our pedals exceed stock rubber pedal grip, even when wet. Ours also enhance heel-toe shifting:

http://www.edmunds.com/ownership/how...2/article.html

Remember, these are all billet aluminum racing pedals, CNC machined and custom engraved. Also, direct bolt on application, no cheap clip-on brackets as seen on many other manufacturers' pedals.

This pedal GB is priced VERY well.

Thank you,
Jeff

1) My stock rubber pads were trashed and didn't stay on the car anymore...

2) my Dead pedal was cracked

3) I REFUSE to put cheap assed strap on pedals on my car (strap-ons are for Dykes and )

4) If you look at the price of any other drill-mount pedal sets (MOST do not offer the dead pedal) you will find them to be of similar price... and i these wer mad for the FC.. not a generic pedal for any car

5) the got rotors on 'em!!!

dDuB - These actually are a GREAT improvment over stock.. of course, of my stock rubber grips, two were gone (gas and clutch), the dead pedal was only hanging on by one of the two tabs, and the brake pedal only had about 50% of it left.. I was about to get some replacement stock rubbers, but they were damn near as much as these pedals, and i've never used rubber pedals that were as great as these.

YearsOfDecay - I'm sorry I didn't make it down to williamsport, this past weekend. I'm sure I'll be down around York some time, we'll definatly have to hang out once my 7 is street legal again

I finally installed my set (older matte finish style) and they're great! I'd recommend them to anybody.

I bought a set last year from Autovation and have not regretted it a all. They make a great product and mine have RX-7 on the cluth and brake pedals, very cool. These pedals are superior to the stock rubber pedals and they do offer much more grip than what you have now. They directly to the metal base of the pedals and do not come loose.

I can't recommend them too highly for anyone that wants a solid grip on their clutch or brake or gas pedal.

You can't really be considered a ROTORHEAD if you can resist these with the rotor design. Autovation guys, you should offer sets as prizes at next years, or this falls, Tail of the Dragon rotary rallies at Deals Gap to let people see what you guys can make. The rotary design is great. Keep up the good work.

You can't recommend them too highly? Or did you mean you can't recommend them highly enough?

Just curious, about how long did it take you guys that have ordered from them before to recieve your pedals? I'm just curious as to how long I have to wait. My rubber is torn up pretty bad.

Dont remember how long it took it was months and months ago... maybe even a year. It was pretty quick I think. If you really need a temporary solution for some grip on your pedals just glue some sandpaper on top of the rubber or take the rubber out and put it on the bare metal.

I can grip them pretty well, clutch slips sometimes if my feet are wet from the rain, but it is getting to be summertime here in Texas so rain shouldn't be an issue. I'm just an impatient bastard.

Yeah... Mine are showing some wear, but I can heel-toe my stock pedals just fine. Is there some better performance over non-falling-apart stock pedals? I have pedals on my list of replacements. Better grip? Closer reach from brake to gas? Or what?

They look like a great addition to my vert, that will have many interior and exterior mods. They also look like a great addition to my 10th AE, since the pedals' rubber is missing on two pedals. Sign me up for two sets!!!

Yes you'll have much better grip on these pedals and the heel-toe action is much easier to do with the extension on the gas pedal and the extra grip also helps. I bought a set last year and have enjoyed the increased traction and they sure look like a serious set of racing pedals. They bolt on to your existing pedal's metal base and will not come loose like the cheap kind that clamp on.

Besides that rotor design is great.
