I suspect you will find the pump impeller soon softened by the oil, and it will fail.
I've been playing with a system like this for about a year now, except mine is automatic. It reads the fuel tank level via the sender and then injects the appropriate amount of oil. The only problem is that it is turning out to be VERY difficult to find a small cheap pump that runs on 12V that can properly handle oil over the long term without being dissolved.
FYI, tap the nipple into the fuel pump mounting flange, use gasoline rated line and include a check valve so that fuel/vapour won't go back up the line.

It's the fuel vapor that will do you in. I've done all of the above in the past and present using a Acetone gallon can with pump on the bottom side feeding into the vent line of the gas tank. After the gallon can gets down to about half you start noticing gasoline smell coming in the interior 'cause vapor from the tank is backfeeding into the gallon can and the cap I have on it has a vent so the pump will work. Anyway the vent works in that it allows gas tank fumes to slightly enter the car especially on HOT days.
All in all its something to play with and harms zippity. I'll be sure to let everyone know when the pump desolves. It's been a couple of years now.

Turn light switch to side lights only. Get out. Open the hatch. Press switch for twenty seconds while watching the opaque feed line b/t the can and fuel tank pass fluid. Switch off. Fill gas tank. Get in car. Go drive off.
Frankly its there in place, but I use the stock OMP on the whole. It works just fine when I do use it. I did this for amusement value. It's been around for ??? yr two or more.
I've moved on from this to using E-85 only in the cars. Still waiting for ALLLLL THOSE O'RINGS TO collapse, pump to come to a screahing halt, and car to stall out (ain't gonna happen).
STOCK OMP beats all the above especially the part about carrying bottles/cans/whatever of oil and pouring it n the gas filler. That is ....(comment deleted by hailers).

I like my RA OMP adapter injecting idemitsu 2-stroke with a little extra love in the tank for the track days/dyno days. My belief is the carbon buildup etc etc etc will be much less.

It's controled by the MoTeC. Attached is the map for it that was reverse engineered by datalogging the factory ECU. It still deliveres some oil even though the map reads zero. This is exactely how Mazda intended it. I've had no leaks with this, no problems whatsoever, and I believe that because it is seeing a slight amount of pressure; slightly more than it would in stock form, and given the viscosity of the synthetic 2-stroke, it seems to be injecting slightly more oil than what the factory wanted.

Pretty fricken cool and for $140..... nice. Only thing I'm not too found of is that it's linear with only the TPS so it doesn't quite line up with the factory map. Id like to see one or two other inputs, MAP and RPM. Other than that, it's pretty damn awesome.

wow alot of good info to read. i think i am gona stick with the stock set up for now as i do no racing in my rx7. i would prefer having 2 stroke oil to be burnt in the combustion chamber.

Then you should get the RA MOP adapter. Works like stock but injects 2-stroke oil. Perfect setup in my opinion. Especially if you have a standalone that you can alter the pumps map.
