Looks good. Now how about some pictures of the inside of the runners? Anyone can make nice looking TIG welds.

I think what he means is that it is almost pointless to build such a nice fully divided manifold for a highly inefficient turbo designed 30 years ago that tops out around 250 HP.

yeah well I'm still under 250rwhp so I'm going with the cheap option for now... at least I don't have to fight electronic OMP and a heavier car.

that was pretty much on it. no one builds a manifold like this for a stock turbo.

In that case, Mazda has already supplied you with a manifold.

hey guys the inside of the runners are flawless. this thing is welded by real people not robots YAAY. anyways. That V mount set up in the pic is a very old set up and has completely changed. I will get some pics up of the new v mount set up asap, it is beautiful as well.

Too bad they have no clue how to run proper pipes for the wastegate...

Yeah, but then neither does anyone. 90% of the aftermarket manifolds seem to have wastegate runners added as an afterthought.

The correct way to plumb wastegate runners is at a very shallow angle to the main runners, with the opening of the wastegate runner facing the exhaust flow. However due to space limitations this is not always possible since most people don't want their wastegates sticking up above the turbo near the shock tower. A great place to put runners is to "Y" them in right at the exhaust ports and have them curve around between the exhaust flange and turbo flange to exit at the rear. Starts to get tricky as you don't want really tight bends to restrict flow.
