just stopped by the shop to check out the new manifold ready for my fc. thing is super sick and sexy



its a divided t4 with the big boy tial wastegate, i cant wait to get it on the ride soon, the thing is beautiful

I think what he means is that it is almost pointless to build such a nice fully divided manifold for a highly inefficient turbo designed 30 years ago that tops out around 250 HP.

hey guys the inside of the runners are flawless. this thing is welded by real people not robots YAAY. anyways. That V mount set up in the pic is a very old set up and has completely changed. I will get some pics up of the new v mount set up asap, it is beautiful as well.

The correct way to plumb wastegate runners is at a very shallow angle to the main runners, with the opening of the wastegate runner facing the exhaust flow. However due to space limitations this is not always possible since most people don't want their wastegates sticking up above the turbo near the shock tower.
A great place to put runners is to "Y" them in right at the exhaust ports and have them curve around between the exhaust flange and turbo flange to exit at the rear. Starts to get tricky as you don't want really tight bends to restrict flow.
