Negatives to running a higher pressure Radiator cap???
Just wondering if there would be any negative effects to running a 15psi cap instead of the 13 psi cap on our cars?
My GTU cap failed and spewed all my coolant out killing my engine.
I am never buying a Standt cap again so I am looking into other options.
I've seen Greddy ones which are for FD's which are rated at 15 psi/ 1 bar.
Other than not popping opne at the regular pressure I can only think maybe a hose popping off.
Any ideas????

Why anyone would pay GReddy prices for radiator cap is beyond me.
If you can't keep the engine from boiling with a considerably cheaper Mazda cap then you have a major cooling system problem.
At 13psi above atmospheric water boils at 260degF. Do you really want to go higher?
