Negative Battery Ground

Exclamation Negative Battery Ground

Could anyone tell me where the negative battery cable winds up...it is shielded and can't tell by looking where it ends at frame or engine...etc...need to clean...thanks for any input

It ends up grounded to the bell housing next to the starter. It is a thick black wire with a white stripe on it.

Thanks...I shudda known that as many times as I've been under the X's....also looked at my firewall to bell ground and it wasn't even connected...that may help some of the intermittent problems too...thanks
