neeed help ASAP

ok so i'm a huge freaking dumbass

now that we got that out of the way, I had bought a turbo II that was partially finished from a guy and I finally had it all put together. But then when I went to fill it up with coolant, it all pretty much burped out after getting it partially filled. Paper towels and several minutes of cursing later, I find that the previous gearhead negleticted to put the a bolt in the water pump into a hole facing the intercooler, close to the coolant bypress line, which goes up into the BAC. So now I've got a partially filled turbo II with a missing bolt in the water pump. If anyone can give me some specs or pictures of the bolt I'm missing that would be great. I think I've tried to see if I could use the top bleed bolt from my radiator but that won't fit.

So "I" forgot the bolt.......J/K

The hole you are referring to is for a temperature sender. You will need to pick one up - the spade terminals were broken.

alright, now i feel really really dumb

I ended up using a plug on that hole instead of looking at the service manual closely and seeing the water thermo sensor connector goes there. Sorry I came out sounding mad, it's my own fault. But anyways, you think I could run without the sensor? On the wiring harness there were some cut wires around there.

nevermind, I just suck. I'll go drain the coolant and put the sensor back in. Figures the thing I try to rig turns out to be an important sensor.

Those wires get very brittle over time on the turbos. You should un-rap the harness in that area to work on them. You did not sound mad...I know you got a great deal on the package so I would never take it personally. Remember - I am sure I told you many times while you were here - Nut and bolt the entire car.
