need your opinion on sway bars.

i went to look at sway bars the other night, and they didnt fit my car. i have a 87 na and i wanna get sway bars for the front struts. the thing is, should i get 2 point or 4 point sway bars?? please tell me which i should get. my friend with an rx7 said that i only need 2 point. please help.

Do you mean a strut brace? Sway bars are things you have under the back of your car.

I'm a little confused (the alcohol doesn't help) but what are you asking about. The two or four point thing threw me off. Could you be speaking of strut tower bars (which go up on top) or sway bars (a.k.a. stabilizer bars or anti-sway bars) that go under the car.

I just got my Corksport strut tower bar. I am very happy with it. It made me realize it's time for new struts, too, though. It was only $69.00 and $6.00 shipping. Check their Web site at www.corksport.com. It is a 2 point one, and it works fine. I'm sure a 4 point one would be better, but also more money. Good luck.

I have the Mazdatrix strut tower brace that has the firewall brace and engine torque brace in my convertible. I STILL haven't put the engine torque brace on, but the brace is very good. The car felt more stable. This is a picture from Mazdatrx's site:

The only downside is that it's $325.
