Question need some help with my clutch, please

well, this is my first post, so please bear with me. ok i just bought my car and it needed a master cylinder rebuild kit for the clutch. i rebuilt it. it worked for a week and then started to act up on me again. so i asked a machanic and he sugested for me to rebuild the slave cylinder. i did that too. but again it worked for a little while and stop working again. i went to my machanic again and told him what it was doing. i turn the car on, push in the clutch, and try to put it into gear, but it just wont go in. it doesnt grind just wont go in. i was told to addjust the pedal. i did that and it worked. it started to act up and i looked at the pedal adjustment and it went right back to where it was before i adjusted it. i tried it again but it just doesnt want to stay there. i mean it fixes the problem but just turns back to where it was. what i do is turn the rod to where it works and tighten the two nuts down on the side towards the engine. but it doesnt want to stay there. if u can help me, please let me know what i am doing wrong, cause it has got me on my last nerve and i just dont know what to do.

Thanks, Ron

Never mess with the push rod adjustment .
U-R problem is that you have bubbles in your system. Moving the adjustemt just worsten it. Put it back and pressure bleed it.

I would hate to say that it wasnt done correctly. I had the same problem with my 87 FC na; I grew some gray hairs because of it .
