how do you like those springs? i'm thinking of the same set up. do yo know they're spring rates?

West TX RX-7 01-19-05 12:44 PM

I'm not sure of the spring rates. I got that setup from RX7.com. I told Rocky I was wanting a suspension setup mainly for autocross but nothing too low or harsh and that is what he sent me along with some front and rear sway bars and front and rear strut tower braces. The ride is a little stiff but not bad enough to complain about. Course I don't drive the car everyday.

RotaryWeaponSE7EN 01-19-05 01:27 PM

I bet it handles great though the turns though. I've heard nothing but good things about all that tokico equipment.

Do Not cut the springs on your GTUs, Please.

Your silver FC look nice with those rims flush on the body.
I know you have the following
Front = 17x8 235/40
Rear = 17x9 255/40

But what off set did you run?

Thanks

jesus christ people, DO NOT cut your freaking springs!

the rest of you, nice pics.

oh and as far as aftermarket springs are concerened, i wouldn't get anything that drops significantly more than an inch. the quality of those are questionable. coil-overs are the way to go...
also realize that if your stock springs and struts are worn, getting a 1 inch drop you may not notice any drop at all...

Tein Flex, car is pretty low but ground clearance is still very good.
235/45R17 on 17x8 +35 fronts
255/45R17 on 17x9 +35 rears
(the fronts just barely touch the coilover spring perches, gotta get a spacer in there)
I hope these pics arent too big....

eeeeeeeeeeeeeebay! there are a couple people routinely selling 5zigen fno1rc's on ebay. if you have coilovers you can run some pretty wide wheels/tires! with the right offset some guys run 17x10 with 275's out back... WHOA!! thanks for the good words guys, I love the way it sits, looks and drives... its just sick.
