here. these are RB springs. 17 wheels. not too low. i think its just right. i am missing the front lip which makes the front end look higher. I had rubbing issues with my 225 tires in the front. i had to "roll" the fenders.

Here's a picture of my old setup (soon to be old :P)
Using stock struts and intrax springs.. I'd never buy those springs again, IMO, they are way too soft.
Going for TEIN with EDFC

The guy that sold me my first (couple months ago) FC cut the springs... didn't know about it, thought the car just rode low haha... Well he also put some weird support bars inbetween the springs so that they wouldn't dip too low and bottom out the car... so... it was cutting the springs done... right? Haha
Anyway, I didn't notice for a while... and the new shell I got really shows off the difference.
(BTW yes the lowered one was in an accident with some ****** running a red light, no frame damage but plenty of cosmetic to total the car)

I just installed Tokico shocks and Eibach Pro-Kit .8 inch lowering springs on my car last night.. My old (read: original) suspension was so shot that it raised my car up about .5 inch... damn were those front shocks shot!

The car actually does sit quite nicely.. just i don't care for the ride.. but that could be due to the old *** stock blown struts.

hey what did you use to cut the springs? I tried cutting my stock ones last night with an electric saw with brand new blades.......(barely scratched the springs) Thinking about using a torch. Do you know of any cheap lowering springs? I just wanna drop my 89 n/a GTUs (with a turbo II hood ) 1.5-2 inches.

I got my springs from speedmachineperformance.com. They are B+G springs and are IMO (and many others on this forum that I've spoken to) on par with RB springs, and lower the car more than the RB springs (1.5" while RB is 1" I believe). They are also cheaper than RB springs. Only thing that sucked was that they took about 2.5-3 months to get due to the fact that they were backordered and are made in Sweden. I don't know what the situation is right now with them...they may be in stock but ASK FIRST.
