Need a part bad and can't find it anywhere

Hi all,

Twice I've located and ordered a "blower motor resistor" for my 86 FC n/a, only to have the orders cancelled because the part was out of stock. I can't seem to locate one online that's in stock.

Does anyone know where I can find a new blower motor resistor in stock online...or should I just find a Mazda dealer local?

Thanks in advance

J

Still looking.... Where do you grab your older parts online?

Thanks

It's located on the blower housing toward the firewall. Black plastic, held in by two screws.

Was looking for new, with shipping they were approx $25.00. Not sure what used is worth or how long it will last.

apparently they last a long time since this is the first time I've ever heard of anyone needing one and I've never had a problem with my blowers...one of which was 285,000 miles/19 years old.

Oh, I fully understand your point, and yes they obviously do last a long time, but how much longer??? It certainly doesn't have much more life left in it. Which is basically my main concern.

If you wanted to pm me a good price, I'd probably buy it.
