Need opinions on cleaning engine for decoration

Hey everybody, I've recently taken apart a blown 13b engine and have taken the Rotor and Rotor Housing to sandblast and then polish up and use as decoration in my house, because why not, right? Lol

Anyways my question is (due to me being indecisive) should I just remove the outer parts of the housing (in photo) and also the one sticking out just above that?

Has anybody else cleaned these up and used them as decoration of sorts and have any suggestions? Thanks all!

My dad's work enables him to have a bunch of access to these types of things. I'm planning to polish it up afterwards as well.

Honestly I was thinking in the house, even bedroom because bachelor life! Lol

I just can't decide if I want to chop those off the housing or not.

Sandblast* my friend. Totally different than sanding. And in that, the polishing will take the longest. Time it takes it irrelevant. Should turn out pretty decent after its done.

Aluminum brightener will get all that corrosion off.

Well sandblasting just ended, instead of polish I just clear coated it to prevent it from turning back (the sandblast work) and I think it turned out sick! It's all really smooth too...thinking I may even just keep it as it, but could maybe end up chopping them off, but for now I'm happy!

Just the outer most part of the housing, the 2 screws on the side. I was contemplating if at first but after the sandblasting they don't bother me now. Turned out good!

What all do you have to do to polish them? I was thinking bout vatting and clear coating them. I really don't want them to rust but don't want to paint. Guess as the saying goes , you cant have your cake and eat it too.
