Need more details please
I need to upgrade my alternator with the 100 amp FD.
I want more info about this.
Searched the archive... found this, https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ght=alternator
1) Anyone have any pics? (I want to make SURE I put the right wires are in the right connections)
2) Anyone ever find a common pulley available that fits the FD's alternator shaft and the FC's V belt?
3) Is there a double pulley (not an underdrive) available to fit this too?
My air pump is long gone, never had any slipping yet, but this is the time to do it before the water pump pulley slips and overheats the car.
Lots of questions I know, but I want to do it right the first time.
Thanks

You found a 6yo thread. There are much better ones. Search the 2nd Gen section (not the whole forum) for "FD alternator" and you'll find more up-to-date info.
Here's what you need to do to the wiring:
Alternator schematics: https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...hmentid=199213
Alternator pin-outs: https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...hmentid=170065
I don't believe there are currently any V-belt pulleys available for FD alternators. I modified the duel-belt pulley I had on the stock alternator to fit mine. You need to bore out the hole and add a spacer.
