ok i know that there is still a couple of things i have to do put new gas i cranked it over already with i now is a really bad thing has like year and half bad gas in it car was sitting for that long got a used 13b it has good compresion car is n/a 89 gtu no mods but i think imma have probs

ok ill start with there was a sensor on the tranny with four wires in it two came out i dont know what its called if you guys an let me know would be much appricated

second another sensor broke when i was pulling the motor i think its a relay it was a single wire and wwas really small its like a 1/4 the size of your plam ill get the part# off of it later

and it dosent have a exhaust on it does it need the back pressure to start? and it doesnt seem like it has spark i know i have alittle bit of ends to tie up but just wanted to see if any of these things were going to stop it from starting

oh and also i was pulling the engineharness from the ecu side and i had to clip a zip tie (factory) and i acidentally cliped two wires ofcourse with my luck they were exactly the same color (green/black stripe) im pretty sure i conected them corectly but its hard to tell with the car not starting

well any info given would be much apprciated and this was my first swap and did all by self lol ill pat my back lol

well what i can say is the motor will run without exhaust.mine was running for about 2months before i got exhaust put on,not as a dd or anything but enough to work out other bugs and such,its excessively loud off the manifold(header) but it sounds good,rattles windows if u rev it.

lol im planning to straight pipe it i dont have the exhaust here its at buddys pad we disasembled it there never brought it and also i forgot to mention i was using a honda batt but it was jumped you dont know nothing about the sensor on the tranny thanx for the response nobody loves me lol

tranny sensor may be your reverse switch. when you put it in reverse, it makes the reverse lights come on

ok thanx imma quit being lazy and just put some good ol elbow grease on it lol then ill start a new thread if i need it i pretty knowledgeable about fcs so i should figure it out just wanted to step into it with a little bit of game plan next time i thread hopefuly itll be roarin lol thanx guys also i live in the palm springe area so if you guy do to send me a friend request not many rex lovers out here a few but not many
