need to know clutch/trans question ASAP

so about a month ago i dumped the clutch in my 88 n/a cuz im a dumb teenager that does that sort of thing and it stopped shifting right and i was pretty sure it was the clutch seing as how i could still go threw all the gears just not easily and smooth like it used to...well finally got money and got the clutch kit and me n my dad put it up on jackstands and took everything apart well we replaced the clutch/presure plate and t.o bearing but i started it after we have everything put back together and now it wont shift gears and ive jacked the master and slave cylinders off of my parts car and it still wont go into gear but if i start it in gear with the clutch down it will stand still but i cant take it out of gear any one know what else it could be?

Try rebleeding the clutch line and see if that does anything.

Why not swap the tranny over from the parts car if it shifts like crap?

Did you guys change your pilot bearing? IF the bearing is crushed and damaged it wont alow you to change gear. Can you shift with the car turned off? If you are to change the pilot bearing. Try to remember how far down the bearing go before you remove it. Good luck!

well your gonna have to jack the car back up and take all the crap apart again. Look around for anything that doesn't look right. Check your fork for damage. I had a similar problem, it was the fork. Also, you've got to torque the bolts.
