The T2 tranny will work, but you will also need a T2 tranny mount of the same generation(s4,s5). And then You will also need the rest of the drivetrain(driveshaft+Diff+halfshafts) unless you want to have a a custom driveshaft made, if so it will hookup to the n/a rear end. If you are looking to get your tranny rebuilt try www.pineappleracing.com If you do plan on turboing your car in the future now would be a good time to get the T2 drivetrain And if you do decide to have a custom driveshaft made get one that can have replaceable U-joints made.

The T2 is a much stronger box, so if you can now would be a good time to go for it.
